UAL sells 1997 vintage B747-422
United Airlines, represented by its remarketing agent Bristol Associates, has completed the sale of a UAL-owned 1997 vintage B747-422 (N196UA/Msn 28715) to Scaled Composites, (California). The aircraft will become part of a project to build the world’s largest aircraft to serve as a mobile platform for low cost satellite launches.
