Constant Aviation adds another Supplemental Type Certificate for wireless internet
Constant Aviation, a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility headquartered at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, announced the completion of the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the complete Wi-Fi system along with Aircell’s Gogo Biz In-flight Internet system in the Hawker series aircraft. The completion of this STC marks the fourth Wi-Fi STC completed in 2012. Constant Aviation has also completed Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) for the installation of Aircell’s Gogo Biz In-flight Internet System including Wi-Fi in the Gulfstream IV, Legacy 600, Citation X, Phenom 300, EMB135 Shuttle and the EMB135LR. Currently the STC’s for the Beechjet 400A/XP and the 737 Business Jet are in the final stages with the FAA pending approval.
