Boeing B733-007 FFS operated by Baltic Aviation Academy approved by Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency
Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency has issued to Baltic Aviation Academy (Vilnius, Lithuania) an approval certificate for Boeing B733-007 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for Brazilian airlines’ pilot training. ‘Being approved by Brazil National Civil Aviation Agency, Baltic Aviation Academy enters Brazilian aviation industry. We strongly believe that this approval shows our training center credibility in developing future aviation personnel in this rapidly growing region’, commented Egle Vaitkeviciute, CEO at Baltic Aviation Academy. According to the ‘Boeing Current Market Outlook 2012 – 2031’ the installed fleet in Latin America region is expected to grow 5.1% annually to comprise 3,450 airplanes, including 2,510 new deliveries. The twin-aisle fleet is expected to expand to 340 airplanes. According to the pilot outlook, such aviation fleet growth will require up to 42 000 new pilots.
