FedEx Corporation released that William J. Logue will retire as President and CEO of its FedEx Freight subsidiary on December 31, 2014. He has guided FedEx Freight since 2010 to a leading position in the U.S. Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) market. He cited health concerns as the reason for his decision to retire. Michael L. Ducker, a 40-year FedEx veteran, will succeed Logue as President and CEO of FedEx Freight. Ducker will move into his new role on January 1st, 2015, from his current position as Chief Operating Officer of FedEx Express. He has led the build out of the FedEx Express global air-ground network, and the growth of its international business.
