Sabena technics signed a 5-year full support contract with the French, la Reunion - based carrier, Air Austral to perform full support services on its Boeing 737 fleet of aircraft. Within the scope of this contract, services will comprise component repair and overhaul, including pool access with advanced standard exchange. Equally provided are wheels & brakes and APU support for AIR AUSTRAL.
The services will be carried out on Air Austral’s B737 fleet comprising two aircraft based in St Denis de La Reunion, FRANCE, for a period of five years. Sabena technics, through its integrated services department, a specialized division in charge of full support contracts is scheduled to start supporting Air Austral from November 24th 2009, bringing to Air Austral value-added support from the Island of La Reunion.
