The TRUEngine program continues to gain momentum with total engine enrollments surpassing the 10,000 mark as 2015 gets underway. The milestone comes less than six months after the program broke through the 9,000-engine mark. “The rapid growth in the TRUEngine program underscores the value of a technically robust and transparent means of identifying engines that have been maintained in a GE or CFM configuration,” said Kevin McAllister, president and CEO of GE Aviation’s Services organization. “The TRUEngine designation provides significant benefits to operators including higher asset residual values, optimized product support, and enhanced warranties.” With the TRUEngine designation, engine owners, potential buyers, lessors, and appraisers know an engine’s content and maintenance history have been verified by GE or CFM, enabling them to more easily evaluate engine configuration, asset value and re-marketability.
