Jetstream Aviation Capital, the largest global owner of Saab 2000 aircraft, has chosen Thomas Global Systems’ TFD-4100 LCD flight display to upgrade its Saab 2000 flight decks. Jetstream’s selection of the TFD-4100 display complements its recently launched Saab 2000 cargo conversion programme and launches the latest in the Thomas Global family of drop-in CRT-to-LCD flight display solutions.
Within the last year, as part of its “Rediscover the Saab 2000” global development initiative, Jetstream has successfully delivered and reached commitments to deliver numerous Saab 2000 aircraft in both 50- and 30-seat regional airliner, corporate and cargo configurations to operators in North America and Europe and anticipates sustained ongoing interest in this unique, high-speed, fuel-efficient turboprop.
Stuart Klaskin, Chief Executive of Jetstream Aviation Capital, said, “Jetstream looks forward to a mutually successful relationship with Thomas Global Systems, further developing its proven drop-in cockpit display upgrades for the Saab 2000. This offering from Thomas Global is a great addition to the ongoing development of the Saab 2000 platform and along with our partners at Saab and TABY Air Maintenance in Sweden, the developer of the Saab 2000 cargo modification, we look forward to deploying the upgraded aircraft to operators around the world.”
