Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes unit and Safran Electrical & Power have signed the renewal of electrical wiring contracts. This renewal covers the Boeing P8, 737 MAX, 767 Freighter, 777 and 777-X programmes. The Boeing 787 Dreamliner and 767-2C remain on contract as well.
Today, more than 1,500 Safran Electrical & Power employees in Morocco, Mexico and the United States provide engineering, manufacturing and support services to Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In 2021, the company produced more than 225,000 electrical wire assemblies for the Boeing programmes, i.e. the 767 Freighter and 737, 777, and 787 airplane families.
