Hamilton Sundstrand signs spare parts agreement with Evergreen

Hamilton Sundstrand has signed an exclusive spare parts purchase agreement with Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp., which will include all Hamilton Sundstrand detail spare part purchases in support of Evergreen’s component repair shops. Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. is a joint venture engineering and maintenance provider between EVA Airways and General Electric Co. Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. has expanded its airline customer portfolio by offering maintenance services with the aim of providing the finest maintenance solutions in the industry.

Honeywell and ST Aerospace expand component maintenance relationship

Honeywell has expanded its relationship with ST Aerospace through the signing of a five-year maintenance service agreement for a select range of Honeywell cockpit avionics and mechanical systems installed on Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and selected legacy aircraft. This collaborative initiative between the two companies follows the appointment of STA Systems Pte Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ST Aerospace as the authorized repair station for Honeywell

Messier Services Asia signs major contract with China Eastern

Messier Services Asia has signed a new major agreement with China Eastern covering 24 Airbus A320 landing gear program for exchange, maintenance and overhaul. The work has already started and will continue throughout 2008 & 2009. Following its Boeing certification and the expansion of its facility, Messier Services Asia has started maintenance and overhaul on B737 New Generation Landing Gears. The first overhauled gear was shipped out on the 5th of November 2007 and Messier Services Asia will have the opportunity to increase further the volume this year on this type of gear.

IAI sign exclusive three year contract for JT9D engine upgrades

Israel Aerospace Industries has signed an exclusive three-year agreement for Pratt & Whitney JT9D new high pressure compressor (HPC) blades to be offered at the company’s engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facilities. The full sets of new HPC blades are common to all Pratt & Whitney JT9D models, which are currently in service with more than 60 operators around the world. The contract is valued at more than $4 million for the initial purchase.

Singapore Airlines selects C.A.R.E. program for 777 fleet

Singapore Airlines has selected Hamilton Sundstrand’s Comprehensive Accessory Repair and Exchange (C.A.R.E.) program to provide maintenance support for all Hamilton Sundstrand equipment on its fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft. The 10-year agreement for electric power and air management equipment includes asset management and repair services for the airline’s current fleet of 69 Boeing 777 aircraft, which will grow to 77 aircraft by 2012.
