China Airlines purchases a 20% share in China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL),
China Airlines has invested in China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL), based in Hong Kong. Beginning in January 2006, China Airlines will switch its aircraft maintenance work at Hong Kong airport from HAECO to CASL. CASL offers a comprehensive range of aircraft maintenance and support services which cover maintenance operations, cabin services, ground support equipment, supply and stores. CASL was established in 1995 as an international joint venture of four leading companies: China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC), British Airways, Hutchison Whampoa and United Airlines.
