SAS Group's April 2013 load factor down 6.1 points

UAL’s April 2013 consolidated traffic decreased 3.8% and consolidated capacity decreased 2.6% versus April 2012. UAL’s April 2013 consolidated load factor decreased 1.0 point to 81.7% compared to April 2012.
Southwest Airlines released that traffic in April 2013 increased 1.5% compared to April 2012, while capacity increased 4.1%. The April 2013 load factor was 77.8%, compared to 79.8% in April 2012.
WestJet announced April 2013 traffic results with a load factor of 82.7%, down 3.5 points compared to the previous year. Traffic increased 3.2% year over year, and capacity was 7.4% higher over the same period.
For the month of April, Air Canada reported a system load factor of 82.1%, versus 83.0% in April 2012, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points. System traffic decreased 0.2% on a system-wide capacity increase of 1.0%.
Allegiant Travel Company reported preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2013. System traffic for the month was up 3.9% compared to the same period in 2012, while capacity was up 3.6%. The load factor for April was up by 0.2 points to 87.5% compared to April 2012.
Delta reported April traffic decreased 0.7% compared to the same month last year, while capacity increased 0.5%. The load factor for the month of April was slightly down by 1.0 point to 81.8% compared to the previous year.
Vueling Airlines has increased traffic by 15.6% year on year, while capacity increased 13.2%. The load factor of the month of March was 80.2%, 1.7 points higher than the same period last year.
Copa Holdings, S.A. reported that consolidated traffic for March 2013 increased 19.5%, compared to the same period in 2012, while capacity increased 21.5%. The load factor for the month was down 1.2 points to 74.7%.
Ryanair released passenger and load factor stats for March 2013, during which its monthly traffic fell 1% over March 2012. The load factor for March was up 1%, to 79% when compared to March 2012.
