CFM International announced that Sébastien Imbourg has been named executive vice president, replacing François Bastin. Bastin, who had served in the role since February 2015, has been appointed executive vice president of Commercial Engine Programs for Safran Aircraft Engines. As part of the CFM Executive Team, Imbourg is responsible for overseeing programs carried out by the CFM joint venture. Air Canada has appointed Jon Turner as Vice President, Maintenance. He is returning to Air Canada after working at other airlines, most recently Air Canada Express partner, Sky Regional, where he was President and Chief Executive Officer. In his role, Mr. Turner will assume responsibility for managing and providing strategic direction for Air Canada’s maintenance programs, core engineering, fleet management, control of technical safety and airworthiness standards, maintenance operations control, supply chain, as well as line maintenance.
Honeywell’s Board of Directors has nominated President and CEO Darius Adamczyk to serve as Chairman when current Chairman Dave Cote retires at the end of April 2018. In addition, Duncan B. Angove, President of Infor, Inc. has been elected to Honeywell’s Board as an independent Director and will stand for re-election at Honeywell’s Annual Shareowners’ Meeting on April 23.

Airbus has appointed Bruno Even Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Airbus Helicopters, effective April 1, 2018. He will report to Airbus CEO Tom Enders and join the company’s Executive Committee. Bruno Even comes to Airbus from Safran where he was CEO of the Helicopter Engines business since 2015. Specialist aviation component support provider, Bii, has appointed new Technical Director, Michael Dancey as the organisation continues to establish a team of highly experienced professionals. Dancey joined the expanding line-up in February 2018. His primary responsibilities include technical oversight of the stores and customer requirements, KPI monitoring and technical oversight for all trace and technical records. As well as offering technical assistance to the sales and repair teams and training new starters for stores and human factors.
