Cathay Pacific CEO resigns

Cathay Pacific’s CEO Rupert Hogg has resigned, along with Paul Loo, the Chief Customer and Commercial Officer of the airline. Hogg has already named Augustus Tang as his successor and Loo will be repalced by Ronald Lam, who was the head of Hong Kong Express. According to REUTERS in a company statement the airline had confirmed that Hogg and Loo had resigned to take responsibility as leaders of the company in view of recent events. Cathay Pacific has been under pressure from the Chinese aviation regulator for staff actions relating to protests in Hong Kong.

Zahira Bouaouda has been appointed President of MATIS Aerospace, a 50/50 joint venture between Safran Electrical & Power and Boeing, specializing in electrical wiring interconnection systems. She thus became the first woman to manage an aerospace company in Morocco. Zahira Bouaouda began her career in 1997 as an auditor with Dorlian & Associés and then MCA & Associés.
