3 Points Aviation, headquartered in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, has signed an agreement to purchase two Dash 8 100 Series aircraft and a substantial spares package from Wideroes, a Norwegian based regional aircraft operator. 3 Points Aviation has purchased over 30 aircraft in the last six years, including 30 Dash 8 aircraft.3 Points Aviation, in conjunction with 3 Points Machining & Aerospace, will be continuing to work with regional aircraft operators worldwide in support of their machining and repair requirements.

Eznis Airways acquires two Avro RJ85 regional jetliners

Eznis Airways, Mongolia’s leading domestic scheduled airline, is acquiring its first jet equipment with two Avro RJ85 regional jetliners bought from BAE Systems. SuperJet International – a joint venture between Alenia Aeronautica (a Finmeccanica Company) and Sukhoi Holding – announced the execution of a “SuperCare” Agreement with the launch customer Armavia for after-sales support of its SSJ100 fleet of 2 aircraft. SuperJet International will provide the Armenian carrier Armavia with customized spares availability and maintenance/repair solutions of on-board equipments for an initial term of 6 years. Nexcelle signs purchase agreement with GE Aviation

The purchase agreement for Nexcelle’s nacelle system to be integrated with GE Aviation’s GE Passport 20 jet engine was signed at the 2011 Paris Air Show. SR Technics and GE have signed two five-year agreements for engine maintenance of the CFM56 family, representing a further milestone in the close cooperation between both companies. AirAsia orders 400 LEAP engines to power A320neos

As part of the largest single firm aircraft order in aviation history, AirAsia has selected CFM International’s advanced LEAP engine to power 200 Airbus A320neo aircraft. The airline is scheduled to begin taking delivery in 2016. To support the new LEAP-powered A320neo fleet, AirAsia has also signed a 20-year RPFH (Rate per Flight Hour) agreement with CFM to provide comprehensive engine maintenance service. Under the terms of this agreement, CFM will guarantee maintenance costs on a dollar per engine flight hour basis.

CFM, Hainan Airlines finalize CFM56-5B engine order

CFM International and Hainan Airlines, China’s fourth largest airline group, have finalized an agreement for CFM56-5B engine to power 42 new Airbus A320 family aircraft. The entire agreement is valued at approximately $1.2 billion U.S. at list price, including the firm engine order and a long-term services and support agreement. Skymark Airlines adds two more A380 aircraft

Skymark Airlines, Japan’s third largest and fast growing airline, placed firm orders with Airbus for two more A380 aircraft. This latest purchase agreement brings the total number of A380s ordered by Skymark to six aircraft. The Japanese carrier plans to start operations with the A380 on international routes linking Narita to destinations in Europe and the U.S.
