IAG reports increased traffic for November 2011
In November 2011, IAG Group traffic rose by 2.1% versus November 2010, while capacity was up 2.4%. The load factor for the month fell 0.3 pts to 75.3% compared to the previous year.

Hawaiian Airlines announced its systemwide traffic statistics for the month of November. Traffic increased 19% compared to the previous year, while capacity increased 20.1%. The load factor fell 0.8 pts to 84.4%.
Southwest Airlines released November 2011 combined traffic results for Southwest Airlines and AirTran. The Company reported that traffic increased 2.5% compared to the previous year while capacity increased 0.7%. The load factor for the month was 81.6% compared to the combined load factor of 80.2% in November 2010.
Delta Air Lines reported that system load factor increased 1.9 points to 81.4%, as traffic declined 1.9% on 4.1% lower capacity year over year. Domestic load factor increased 3.2 points to 83.5%, as traffic increased 1.4% on 2.6% lower capacity over prior year.
American Airlines reported a November load factor of 82.3%, an increase of 1.9 points versus the same period last year. Capacity was lower by 4.0%, while traffic was lower by 1.7%Â year-over-year. US Airways Group announced November 2011 traffic results. Mainline traffic for the month was up 3.4% versus November 2010, while mainline capacity was down 0.6% versus November 2010. Mainline passenger load factor was a record 83.8% for the month of November, up 3.2 points versus November 2010.
Hawaiian Airlines announced the next step in its long-range fleet renewal and expansion plan with the signing of a new firm order with Airbus to purchase five new A330-200 aircraft for delivery between 2013 and 2015, with purchase rights for an additional three A330s. With these five new A330s on order, Hawaiian will be adding 13
Vueling reported traffic increase of 5.9% for October 2011, while capacity increased 3.5% year over year. The company has reached a load factor of 76.8%, 1.8 points higher than last year.
SAS Group’s traffic increased by 2.6% during October and capacity increased 3.3% compared to the same period last year. The passenger load factor decreased by 0.5 pts in October to 75%. SAS Group carried 2.6 million passengers in October, up 3.9%.
For the month of October 2011, Copa Holdings’ system-wide passenger traffic increased 14.7%, while capacity increased 20.8%.  System load factor for October 2011 was 74.0%, a 3.9 pt decline when compared to October 2010.
