ST Aerospace wins $120 million contract to provide with training helicopter
Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) announced that it has won a contract to provide training helicopter for the Singapore Ministry of Defence. Under this contract, worth about $120m, ST Aerospace will provide the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) a fleet of five EC120 Colibri helicopter with full technical and logistic support for the fleet over a period of 20 years. SAS Group sells its shareholding in European Aeronautical Group
The SAS Group has signed and closed an agreement to sell its 100% stake in European Aeronautical Group (EAG) to Navtech Inc. based in Waterloo, ON, Canada. The shares are sold at a total price of approximately MSEK 162 for the equity plus an additional amount estimated to MSEK 30 based on future revenues. Airbus receives orders for 70 A320s from AerCap
AerCap has signed a letter of intent for the purchase of 70 Airbus A320 Family aircraft. AerCap was formerly known as debis AirFinance, which was recently acquired by Cerberus. In 1999 AerCap (then debis AirFinance) had ordered 31 Airbus A320 Family aircraft. The new deal will take its Airbus portfolio to more than 170 aircraft. The type of engines has yet to be announced.
