AEGEAN AIRLINES, based in Athens, Greece will lease three (3) new Airbus A320-200 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft will be powered by V2527-A5 engines and are scheduled to deliver in February and March 2007. The lease terms are for 6 years each.

AIR CHINA will lease three (3) new Boeing B737-800 aircraft from ILFC. The aircraft, MSN 29373, 29374 and 30716 will be powered by CFM56-7B26 engines and are scheduled to deliver in January, February and March 2007. The lease terms are for 7 years each.

Boeing and Royal Air Maroc announced the firm-order agreement for four 787 Dreamliners with an option for the purchase of one additional airplane. The first 787 is scheduled for delivery in late 2008. The Memorandum of Understanding for the 787s was originally signed in July, 2005. Royal Air Maroc’s order for the 787 Dreamliner brings the total number of announced commitments for the airplane to 309 from 25 airlines worldwide, with 241 firm orders.

US Airways Group, Inc. has reached a transition agreement with the two unions that represent the airline’s passenger service employees. The Communications Workers of America (CWA), which represents US Airways’ passenger service employees, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT), which represents America West’s passenger service employees, recently formed an alliance designed to represent the new merged airline’s passenger service employees. Termed the Airline Customer Service Employee Association, this alliance will represent approximately 7,150 passenger service and reservations employees.

Air China and Sichuan Snecma Aero-engine Maintenance Company (SSAM) signed an exclusive service contract for a period of 20 years. The contract covers the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of all CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B engines powering Air China

US Airways Group’s reported for November 2005 4,921,838 RSM (-6%), 6,544,528 ASM (-7.4%) and a load factor of 75.2% (+1.1 points). Year to date traffic (in RSM) increased by 2.7% to 61,795,662 RSM while capacity grew by 1.6% to 80,841,286 ASM. Year to date load factor improved by 0.7 points to 76.4%.

John P. Jumper, recently retired Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, was elected to the Board of Directors of Goodrich Corporation. Jumper was also appointed to serve on the board’s Audit Review Committee and Financial Policy Committee. With this election, Goodrich’s board increases to 11 members.

Aircelle delivered the 1,000th thrust reverser for Rolls-Royce BR710 engines. Developed by Aircelle in 1993-1994, the BR710 thrust reverser is now in its eighth year of operational service on high-end ultra long-range corporate jets. Aircelle is stepping up its production rate for BR710 thrust reversers to handle delivery requirements through 2011. The company plans to reach a steady output of 180 units per year, which compares to 140 deliveries in 2005 and the 100 reversers completed in 2002. Preston Aviation Solutions Pty Ltd, a Boeing subsidiary, has been commissioned by United Airlines to conduct a system-wide computer simulation study of its operations. The objective of the simulation project is to assess the impact of various proposed schedule changes by United Airlines. Preston will use its industry-leading Total Airspace and Airport Modeler (TAAM) simulation tool to accurately model current flight operations for United Airlines, followed by the simulation of alternative “what-if” scenarios associated with a number of perceived or proposed changes in airline schedules.

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company announced a launch customer order for 20 firm RRJ95 and 20 options in basic configuration from Concord Aviation, a leasing company based in Dubai.
